As the Relationship Manager you will assist the Relationship Director with all aspects of credit stewardship and credit applications for new and existing clients. Demonstrating a client focussed approach to deliver day to day operational solutions for existing and new clients, working collaboratively with other areas of San UK to achieve this.

Supporting the bank in meeting its business, regulatory and stakeholder obligations in respect of Financial Crime Compliance. Including identifying, deterring, detecting, and disrupting money laundering, sanctions non-compliance, terrorist financing, bribery, corruption, and tax evasion risks that arise by way of its activities
Preparing and collaborates with Relationship Director and deal teams with all aspects of credit applications for existing clients and new to bank prospects in line with credit policy and procedures.
Giving support to Relationship Director with the management and monitoring of the client portfolio including daily account excesses, timely receipt of financial info, annual review process, covenant monitoring and flagging potential risks.
Adapting an agile approach, constructively challenges and suggests improvements for processes and systems
People Skills - the ability to hold conversations confidently and effectively with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally within a Corporate environment.
Proactivity - a forward thinking individual with willingness to actively seek new clients for the Bank, whilst promoting our wide range of products and services.

Knowledge of Financial Crime, AML and KYC processes including client onboarding
An understanding of financial analysis and the ability to read/understand financial information
Previous Relationship Management skills working across SME, Mid Corporate and/or Large Corporate Clients
An understanding of the Corporate & Commercial Bank, including our products and services offered.
