As a Relationship Manager you will support a Relationship Director with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients, which include lending relationships.Demonstrates a client focused approach to deliver day to day operational solutions for existing and new clients, working collaboratively with other areas of San UK to achieve this

  • Identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks, taking proactive personal responsibility for 'doing the right thing' in compliance with regulatory requirements and our frameworks and policies.

  • Supporting the bank in meeting its business, regulatory and stakeholder obligations in respect of Financial Crime Compliance. Including identifying, deterring, detecting, and disrupting money laundering, sanctions non-compliance, terrorist financing, bribery, corruption, and tax evasion risks that arise by way of its activities

  • Preparing and collaborates with Relationship Director and deal teams with all aspects of credit applications for existing clients and new to bank prospects in line with credit policy and procedures.

  • Giving support to Relationship Director with the management and monitoring of the client portfolio including daily account excesses, timely receipt of financial info, annual review process, covenant monitoring and flagging potential risks.

  • Adapting an agile approach, constructively challenges and suggests improvements for processes and systems

    What you will bring.

  • Knowledge of legal aspects related to Corporate and Commercial clients (legal entities, security, valuations, facility documentation)

  • Understands Anti-Money Laundering requirements related to corporate clients

    It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Office 365

  • Understands the process flow for lending transactions

  • Understands corporate credit risk and risk rating models including Moody's MRO

  • Working toward a relevant Financial Services qualification

    Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

    This role is currently office based in Ludgate Hill, London, however we offer a Hybrid approach.
