We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Regulation Manager within the English Product group, where you will manage our day-to-day engagement with the regulators and immigration authorities and provide support to our operational teams to ensure compliance., As Regulation Manager, you will lead the day-to-day interactions with our key external stakeholders (regulators, immigration authorities) ensuring that regulatory non-compliances are recorded and reported correctly.

Working largely autonomously, you will exercise a high level of judgement as one of the key regulatory subject matter experts for the English product group. You will work with teams across the business to ensure the incident management process is adhered to, being the main point of contact for internal queries and requests for information relating to accreditation and regulatory compliance.

You will also:

  • Use detailed knowledge of operational processes, regulatory requirements and issues to provide insight, and propose changes to operational processes to support improved regulatory compliance.

  • Keep informed of trends in regulatory practice in the UK and internationally, and in UK immigration legislation, making colleagues aware of new regulatory requirements and working with the Head of Regulation to agree any responses., Please note that successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory background checks including DBS due to working in a regulated industry.

Candidate Description

A strong collaborator, you will have experience of working in a regulated environment, and be able to demonstrate how you have worked within a regulatory framework to track and report compliance. Experience of working within the qualifications sector would be beneficial.

You will have held previous roles where you have exercised high levels of autonomous judgement - making rational decisions and giving clear recommendations.

Along with your 'can do' attitude, you will have experience of evaluating changing regulatory requirements against business practice and practicalities and recommending innovative solutions.
