Responsible for providing professional and expert advice to Regional Operations Directors, Area Managers, and outlet Management Teams, across Costa UK&I, to ensure the business meets its legal and moral obligations towards the safety & security of its team members and customers/consumers., You'll provide expert advice on compliance with H&S related law, best practice and Company policy to Regional Operations Directors, Area Managers & outlet Operational Teams across the business.

  • Responsible for effective management of all safety & security related enforcement activity in their region, to achieve the best possible outcomes for the business.

  • Responsible for undertaking detailed risk analysis across several safety related disciplines, including specialist risk assessments, which effectively identify and mitigate against the H&S, Food safety and Fire safety risks associated with the business.

  • Acting as an ambassador championing Costa's safety and security related strategies to help maintain and drive improvements in our safety culture whilst protecting Costa's reputation and assets.

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent

  • Tech IOSH Membership Status

  • CIEH Intermediate Level Food Safety Qualification

  • Experience of accident and incident investigation

  • Understanding & underpinning knowledge of practically applying legal requirements & standards

  • Experience of working in a challenging and reactive environment

  • Experience of making rounded decisions balancing risk and cost under minimal supervision
