Recruitment Officer, 12 month FTC - Housing Ombudsman Service - Hybrid/Home based, The Housing Ombudsman Service provides independent, impartial and fair dispute resolution services for nearly 5 million households in England. Through resolving disputes effectively and promoting positive change across the social housing sector, we improve resident's lives and landlord's services.
Reporting into the Recruitment Project Manager you will ensure they continue to attract and recruit the best talent. Your key accountabilities will include:-
Taking ownership of all live vacancies, ensuring all applicants are processed effectively and details processed accurately
Liaising with their advertising agency to ensure copy for all vacancies are produced to a high standard
Building relationships with line managers, candidates and recruitment suppliers as well as the wider HR team
Maintaining a live vacancy board creating a real-time view of all available jobs
Advising recruiting managers on current recruitment process and procedures
Coordinating the recruitment process including interview feedback, updating vacancy database and tracking vacancies
Candidate Description
You will need to have previous recruitment experience gained working in a not for profit organisation or in the public sector. A good knowledge of recruitment best practice and HR compliance processes needs to be combined with excellent administration skills and a good attention to detail. An ability to prioritise and work in a fast paced environment is essential.
