To contribute to the achievement of Cambridge English business objectives through developing and supporting the implementation of the ASEAN, Australasia, Japan & Korea's recognition strategy - focused on growing and maintaining recognition for Cambridge English exams and ensuring this recognition converts to sales through collaboration with other Cambridge English business functions.

Strategy Development and Implementation (25%) Responsibility for developing, implementing, and evaluating the recognition strategy in the region across all sectors, for all relevant Cambridge English products (working in close collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, and Assessment teams within the Global Network teams in the region, as well as the Global Recognition team in Cambridge)

Ensuring the recognition strategy is implemented within budget, that there is an effective evaluation of investment and that all financial procedures are followed.

Account Management (40%) Proactive management of key recognising organisation (RO) relationships with regular face-to-face meetings with key stakeholders and institutions. Coordination and support of other colleagues in managing their key accounts. Ensure that the ROs effectively and publicly advertise and implement (on their website, in their internal brochures, etc.) the recognition of Cambridge Exams that they agreed to.

Management of RO accounts in the CRM system

Recognition Opportunities (20%) Identification of new recognition opportunities, as well as online and offline solutions for acquiring increased recognition.

Identification of need and working closely with marketing colleagues locally and in Cambridge to produce marketing materials and presentations aimed at ROs.

Sales Opportunities (15%) Work closely with marketing to integrate campaigns to promote recognition to external stakeholders, customers, and end-users and drive sales conversion rates

Qualification of any sales opportunities at ROs for passing on to the Business Development team.

Candidate Description

  • A Degree in Sales or Marketing field, or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of working experience in sales or marketing.

  • Account management experience.

  • The post holder will require a lot of determination, tact, creativity, and the ability to think strategically and outside the box. For the success of the recognition campaign, the post holder will need to work with colleagues from various departments in Cambridge and overseas to ensure the campaigns lead to growth in sales in key markets.,

  • Good knowledge of the European education market - including experience or an understanding of the Higher/Further Education, English Language Teaching (ELT), Academic Publishing, or the Public Sector is desirable.

  • Experience/understanding of teaching/assessment in education.

  • Knowledge of Cambridge English products and services.
