We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim’s Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim’s UK & Pilgrim’s Food Masters). Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses. As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation. We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working. A dedicated Transactional Services team will be created to deliver a high-quality and cost-effective service to the Business Units. Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure, Operations & Cyber Security, we are pleased to advise that we are now recruiting for a IT Site Services Manager. The Role This role will hold overall responsibility and accountability for building and developing the function responsible for high quality, responsive and reliable onsite support for all Platforms, Applications and Devices within our IT Service Portfolio and Catalogue. What You’ll Need Proven leadership of IT support teams and significant experience of IT leadership and management in large scale organisations. Excellent Communication, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal and organisational skills. Experience collaborating with the business to develop, implement and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Substantial, hands-on experience managing and supporting a diverse portfolio of Platforms, Applications & Devices Business experience gained in Service Management and/or Business Management roles, across a range of customers. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft “desktop” productivity applications. Experience in defining and implementing new policies and standards. Experience advising Senior Management teams within IT and business. Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of managing and leading people. Good understanding and experience of how to drive a positive and forward thinking culture. Aligned to the company’s core values and competences.
