Job Description
Supporting the day-to-day delivery of stakeholder and engagement strategies for the business's Electricity Transmissions construction projects, by working with the External Affairs lead, to help deliver projects as well as enhance and protect their reputation.,
Organise processes, resources and events to help the External Affairs team be effective and efficient.
Oversee engagement requests for the business, and work closely with project teams, community relations agencies and external affairs colleagues to ensure engagement plans are in place
Responsible for overseeing the distribution of approved communication materials such as printing of letters, leaflets, displays by working closely with designers, printers and mailout companies.
Overseeing the planning, preparation and delivery of events, including researching and booking venues and organising payments.
Responsible for managing the communication channels for external parties including free phone hotline, email account, website, social media and free post addresses.
Responsible for drafting letters, Q&As and engaging with community and stakeholders that contact the projects through the communication channels.
Managing the storage of project communication materials for community relations activities on systems used by ET projects.
Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the business.,

Candidate Description
Thorough understanding of Microsoft software such Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and other business tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
Self-motivated with an ability to work under own initiative to deliver results, whilst at the same time being a strong team player and working collaboratively with the External Affairs Team as well as with people from other areas of the business.
Good time-management skills which demonstrate an ability to multitask and manage competing workloads to meet demanding deadlines whilst maintaining high standards
