Project Co-Ordinator

The Tritium Innovation Unit is a research and development team that delivers tritium science experiments, technology, and expertise in support of the fusion fuel cycle. The focus of the team is on delivering practical, innovative, tritium research and experiments which support the realisation of a commercially viable fusion fuel cycle.

The Project Coordinator will have analytical skills to support project activities with a positive approach to overcoming project challenges and delivery.
* Supporting technical teams in co-ordinating the planning and execution of small projects
* The creation and management of key documentation for projects
* Tracking project budget utilisation and schedule
* Coordinating and providing information for the assigned projects
* Analysing project data, finances and producing standard project reports
* Project administration duties including organising meetings and taking minutes
* Support the broader H3AT team, to ensure project success

* HNC/Apprentice or equivalent in Business, Science or Engineering related discipline
* Experience of project support work
* IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and Sharepoint

Desirable qualifications:
* Higher Apprenticeship; Higher National Certificate Degree
* Project Management qualifications
* Excellent report/minutes writing skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Good planning and organisational skills
* Be able to work autonomously, with initiative and minimum supervision
* Adapt to and work within a variety of situations
* Knowledge of managing the interfaces and interdependencies for technical projects
* Knowledge of quality management systems
* Knowledge of purchasing
