Reporting to the Head of Corporate Digital Channels, you will be responsible for project managing multiple initiatives and resources who form the technology teams supporting Santander UK's platforms for Corporate Bank. These channels and services are primarily focused on the Connect Online Banking platform, together with an embryonic Mobile Banking application as well as the portal screens used by back office teams. These are targeted at Corporate and large SMEs of Corporate Bank. The technology suite is a mix of legacy, new stack, and integration with 3rd party suppliers, specifically Infosys and the Finacle platform.

You will be a key interface working with the requesting business sponsors and their delegates for these Channels, specifically liaising with Product Owners and Corporate Management teams within Transaction Banking.

You will be responsible the direct management of approximately 10 to 15 resources, depending on the volume of change projects driven through System Plan defined activities. These resources will be split between UK and Off-shore teams.

  • Managing 3rd party vendors, offshore delivery team and inter dependent teams with Santander

  • Delivering to the budget and time scales planned with justifiable delays if any

  • Reporting to the Head of Corporate digital channels

  • Providing necessary support & creating the rapport / friendly environment with in and cross teams

  • Ensuring communication and reporting is accurate and effective

  • Analysing blockers / impediments and produce effective solutions to unblock them

Candidate Description

  • Program management / Agile project manager handling complex IT delivery engagements & managing budgets at scale

  • Experience working with cross functional teams, manage 3rd party relationships

  • Experience in reporting and communication to stake holders

  • Functionally / technically capable of understanding the technology landscape and drive for delivery

  • Digital exposure to cloud technologies ( PaaS & IaaS) implementation

  • End to end responsibility from Initiation till BAU handover is essential

    It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Should be able to front end Audit, incident calls, manage production incidents & represent at various change forums independently with help from the team

  • Should have continuous learning attitude and adaptability to new technology evolution we move to

  • Agile Certifications

  • Project Management certifications

    What else you need to know.

    Given its customer facing channels, all our changes broadly are deployed overnight, so should be willing to see the deployments through supporting tech teams.

    Managing multiple programmes of work within the same area will be key

    Flexible working is always encouraged and given teams are offshore we are flexible in coming into the Milton Keynes office. However, there are occasions where your presence will be required which should be ensured.
