Worcester (5 days a week onsite but flexibility on working from home where needed - potential for hybrid)
Adecco have an exciting new opportunity to work within the procurement team as a Production Planner with an innovative technology organisation near Worcester. The ideal individual would have confident ability to work with within planning, inventory and materials procurement and orders,
Day to day planning tasks
Raising work orders
Managing production trackers
Reviewing resource requirements
Advising on material requirements
Forecast requirements and what that means in terms of resources
Procurement of resource, goods and materials
Interacts with sales administration, logistics and vendors, and calculates optimised delivery sequences, to maximise machine utilisation.
Files and maintains planning documentation in IT systems.
Communicates to manufacturing management and staff.
Ensures that production plans are properly installed and executed.
Candidate Description
MRP experience: understand and interpret Material Resource Planning
Good communications with internal stakeholders and customers
Able to be well organised
Understanding of inventory and storage of materials
Understanding customer demand (internal customer focus)
Previous experience in inventory, stock and ideally a production planner role is beneficial
