Asda currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Process Lead to join our Procurement team. We are building the foundations to grow our business by creating brand new systems landscape that is flexible and sustainable. This gives us a unique opportunity unlike any other grocery retailer - we will have no legacy systems. Through the upgrade of every piece of technology, we will simplify how our colleagues work and improve our offer for customers.

From a Procurement perspective, this means transitioning to a suite of SAP procurement applications to support the end to end Source to Pay process with new and improved functionality that will go live from July 2023.

Your Role

As an ASDA Procurement Process Lead, you will be leading on and supporting a range of activities in order to optimise the use of our new SAP ARIBA solutions . This will involve:

  • Continually developing the sourcing process in the SAP Sourcing Module, including the RFX templates and best in class supporting documents

  • Optimising our category buying channel strategies within Ariba Guided Buying and utilising new functionality such as procurement validation policies and supplier segmentation

  • Leading on the catalogue strategy and implementation across all categories, working closely with the Procurement category teams and business stakeholders

  • Driving best practise and adoption of all the SAP ARIBA modules and their functionality - Sourcing, Risk, Spend Analysis & Guided Buying.

  • Supporting the design of the end to end contract lifecycle management processes, working closely with Legal and other stakeholders

  • Identify and develop knowledge management materials including self-service sourcing process and templates

  • Land future SAP ARIBA functionality updates effectively into the business
