A role responsible for managing the PMO range of activity to enable the effective and timely delivery of projects within the workstreams, including scoping and prioritisation, planning, provision/reallocation of resource; stakeholder management; inter-dependency analysis; problem solving and solution finding.

It will support the Workstream Leaders/SMEs and PMO Senior Managers in ensuring that each project and Workstream is delivering against plan and the overall mandate.

This role will contribute to identification and management of risks and issues especially at programme level and drive relevant resolution actions.

The difference you'll make.

  • Establishing and overseeing the governance and reporting requirements of the programme.

  • Driving and supporting the effective delivery of each of the OCiR II workstreams within the programme to deliver on time, on budget, on benefit and in scope.

  • Establishing and maintaining the overall program plan, including milestone and dependency management.

  • Managing programme risks and issues; assessing and minimising risks, as well as contributing to the identification of risks and issues.

  • Managing the programme Budget and Resourcing. This will include annual forecasting vs actual costs, updating PlanView with financials and resources onboarded/offboarded, presenting the final monthly summary to the Programme Director

Candidate Description

  • Previous experience in a Programme Management Office role within a Financial Services environment.

  • PRINCE 2 practitioner or external PMO certification

    It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience of PMO tools - WAVE and PlanView

  • Experience of organising Senior Forums and Working Groups, including taking minutes and tracking attendance

  • Able to facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of programme resources

  • Organised and able to maintain programme documents and artifacts
