My client who are a leading glass and glazing specialist are now recruiting for a part time Payroll Assistant to help with Maternity leave. The right candidate must have an understanding within payroll, legislation, threshold changes, tax codes, leavers, starters and pensions.,

  • Processing new starters and leavers as well as logging their absences and holidays onto system in time for the new tax year.

  • Process employee's payroll using EasyBuild system.

  • Dealing with general ledger, project costing and expenses.

  • Responsible for updating pension contributions on a weekly basis via Peoples Pensions Portal.

  • Dealing with a weekly pay roll run of approx. 35 employees and a monthly payroll of approx. 12 employees.

  • Candidate must have knowledge of SSP, SMP and Change of tax codes in order to deal with any queries from HMRC.

  • Responsible for analysing several credit cards and posting to the general/ project ledger.

  • Liaising with an umbrella company in order to help with payroll for our sub-contractors.
