  • Be able to use the 'Stores Management system' (SMS) and feedback any issues to the Insite Manager.

  • Responsible for the daily activities involved with SAP such as shopping cart creation, issuing PO once approved, follow up of outstanding shopping carts, proactively deal with queries and receipt of goods

  • Preparation/submission of quotations for Permits or stock items in line with min/max levels

  • Maintain order book, ensure all C, V & I status items are chased and advise customer of any changes of expected delivery dates.

  • Proactively resolve or follow up customer enquiries, quotations, Invoice queries and escalate where required.

  • Progressing sales and direct with OEM's

  • Collation and processing of stores requisition sheets where required

  • Receipt of incoming orders on the stores system

  • Pick parts required from stores & accompany engineers access to stock bins as required

  • Complete inter site stock transfers and ensure satellite location stock levels are maintained

  • Review of stock levels, min/max and critical items

  • Have awareness of and follow site specific HSE procedures and regulations, including site specific risk assessments

  • Maintain COSHH list and ensure valid data sheets are available on site.

  • Liaise with Customer and team members to identify any Health Safety and Environmental concerns and non-compliance

  • Perform stores self-audits and resolve or escalate any issues requiring investigation.

  • Ensure all Proof of Delivery documents are signed.

  • General housekeeping of the Office/stores areas to 5S standards

  • Check and manage quarantine areas in conjunction with Insite Support manager.

Candidate Description

  • Ideally applicants should have direct, relevant, and recent experience of working in a

  • busy Sales/Stores environment including managing sales enquiries, completing daily

  • stores functions (Goods In / Replenishment / Stock Checks / General House Keeping)

  • and dealing with and resolving customer queries.

  • Applicants should be computer literate and have experience of working with stores

  • management systems and should be familiar with standard stores management

  • Experience of working in a busy Sales / Customer service environment.

  • Knowledge of SAP Required.

  • Full UK Driving Licence required
