The Oracle EBS Technical HRMS role sits within the Delivery Team in Cognizant's EAS Oracle EBS Practice. The role is entailed to help both internal teams and external clients succeed in delivering end-to-end implementation of Oracle EBS Payroll & OTL.

Typical day to day responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Stakeholder Management at both the Client and Cognizant

  • Responsible for the overall technical solution for Oracle EBS Payroll & OTL implementation

  • Develop technical design document, Conversion document and coding

  • Understand client requirements and provide technical solution for same in Oracle EBS HRMS & Payroll

  • Review deliverables prepared by the team before sharing with the client

  • Apply project methodology and enforce project standards

  • Ensure documentation is complete and up to date

Candidate Description

  • Experience in delivering technical solution for Oracle EBS Payroll & OTL Implementations

  • Very Good Understanding of Oracle EBS Human Resource / Payroll / OTL

  • A person should have strong Knowledge in SQL & PL/SQL (Packages, Procedures, functions, etc.)

  • A person should expert in, Oracle Apps Technical, personalization, extensions, and creation of new custom Reports and PL/SQL packages

  • Should have experience in Customizing Oracle reports and developing new reports by using XML Publisher (BI Publisher).

  • Experience in the development of interface programs to integrate Oracle Applications modules to import data from various sources into Oracle Applications using SQL

  • Loader and Oracle APEX pages.

  • Strong communication skills and be able to communicate internally and externally, providing transparency to Stakeholders

  • Deep experience in using Agile and Waterfall Methodologies

  • Experience working in Public Sector Companies is an advantage
