The Oracle EBS Project Manager role sits within the Delivery Team in Cognizant's EAS Oracle EBS Practice. The role is entailed to help both internal teams and external clients succeed in delivering end-to-end implementation of Oracle EBS Payroll & OTL.

Typical day-to-day responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Stakeholder Management at both the Client and Cognizant

  • Responsible for the overall delivery for Oracle EBS Payroll & OTL implementation

  • Develop a plan of action including schedule, resources, and work plan

  • Managing day-to-day project responsibilities and project scope, identifying, and managing project risk, and establishing contingency plans

  • Issue Management: drive the resolution of major issues - Risk Management: continuously review and manage programme risk

  • Scope Management: Continuously review and manage scope, and identify the related impact of potential scope changes

  • Change Management: ensure change control procedures are followed appropriately

  • Review deliverables prepared by the team before sharing them with the client

  • Apply project methodology and enforce project standards

  • Ensure documentation is complete and up to date

Candidate Description

  • Experience in delivering Oracle EBS Payroll / OTL Implementations

  • Basic Understanding of Oracle EBS Human Resource / Payroll / OTL

  • Strong communication skills and be able to communicate internally and externally, providing transparency to Stakeholders

  • Deep experience in using Agile and Waterfall Methodologies

  • Experience working in Public Sector Companies is an advantage
