We are recruiting for a motivated Registered Nurse to join Wey House, our adult residential nursing home based in Norton Fitzwarren, Taunton on a part time basis, two days a week. As a Day Registered Nurse at Wey House you will offer care and rehabilitation to our 31 residents who have been diagnosed with a brain injury or neurological health care needs, and other complex conditions.
Our nursing service in Somerset are welcoming and friendly environments and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care and moving and assisting (including the use of hoists), encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the community, the next you could be unwinding in the garden tending to our growing plant/vegetable collection, watching films or doing arts and crafts in the service.
You will need to be a Qualified Nurse with previous experience in planning clinical care and delivering high quality care focusing on a person centered approach.
Each day shift we have two qualified RGN's and 14 dedicated support workers, each night shift we have one qualified RGN and four dedicated waking night staff, ensuring quality of care is provided to the highest standard.
