We are looking for an experienced capital model expert to assist us in validating the results from our internal model, proposing alternative methodologies and ensuring data quality. We need the very best analyst with a vast understanding of modelling techniques and incredible data engineering skills capable of applying the best modelling wizardry as well as standard actuarial methodologies.
The role provides a rare opportunity to work closely with the senior team right at the heart of assessing the profitability for a £0.5bn insurance business.
The main requirement for this position is to assist in the validation of the Internal Economic Capital Model (IECM) outputs for Commercial Lines, help support the Parameter Sign of Process (PSOP) meetings and ensure appropriate reinsurance cover.
