Morgan Hunt are working closely with a leading educational provider in Kent to recruit a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer on a permanent full time basis.
The School is proud of it's industry standard classrooms and labs that lecturers, technicians and students can use to ensure students are getting the best learning experience. Within Mechanical Engineering this includes equipment such as laser cutters, CNC machines in their dedicated engineering building. The senior leadership is a stable team of staff who have worked their way from teaching into leading teams of teachers and technicians across the school.

The Ideal Mechanical Engineering Lecturer will be responsible for:
Delivering KS4 & Level 3 in your specialist area
Planning and coordinating lessons, resources and support to enable learners to achieve their qualifications
Using college database to track learners progress
Working with the line manager to ensure standards are met
Managing and achieving targets set by line manager
Engaging different learners through a range of teaching resources
Candidate Description
Have vocational experience in a teaching role within your specialist area setting or keen to get into a teaching role
Have a recognised teaching qualification e.g. DTLLS, PCET, PGCE or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education A PTLLS or CTLLS teaching qualification or willing to work towards one
Have the ability to engage different learners through a range of teaching resources
Have mechanical and engineering principles & Engineering projects knowledge/experience
