The marketing executive will be responsible for delivering marketing solutions for client solutions projects, as well as supporting marketing activities for both subscriptions- Inside Housing and Social Housing, and Housing Expert.

For client solutions you will be responsible for providing value to the clients through the development and delivery of successful marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the Special Projects Editor and the Business Development team to support projects through the design, digital and print space.

For subscriptions you will support the Head of Marketing in delivering campaigns to increase both new business and drive existing customer engagement. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager to generate leads and drive free trials to feed new business pipelines.

This is a unique role to gain marketing insight into all commercial aspects in the media business.,

  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients and drive positive perceptions of the value Inside Housing, Social Housing and Housing Expert provides

  • Implementing the marketing activities across multiple channels and within budget to ensure the requirements of each project are met

  • Liaising with the client on briefing calls to understand deliverables for the campaign

  • Formulate and modify automation campaigns where necessary

  • Creating and managing campaign schedules to ensure all deadlines are met

  • Creation of all marketing collateral - writing copy /document preparation and proof reading

  • Managing the delivery of the events on site where necessary

  • Perform any other duties as commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility,

  • Reporting on activities undertaken with the client in a timely and professional manner - both internal and external reporting

  • Assessing, monitoring and improving marketing efficiency by conducting regular analysis of marketing KPI's, reporting on campaign results to elevate success

  • Embrace the culture of testing and change to continuously drive improvement

  • Timely production of reports for meetings and presentations

Candidate Description

This role requires excellent copy writing, organisational and communication skills, as well as good attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce high quality work within deadlines.

The candidate would be expected to be qualified to degree level as a minimum but a professional qualification in Marketing or equivalent would be an obvious advantage.

Expertise should include execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including creating websites and digital campaigns; brand development; list development/curation; segmentation and targeting; outstanding writing skills; strong organisational skills; the ability to manage a budget; and a commitment to fully understanding a target customer and market.,

  • Experience in a B2B Marketing or creative environment preferred

  • Become a product expert. Learn how the intricacies of the Housing sector in order to communicate to internal teams, clients and the target audience

  • Sound knowledge of database segmentation

  • "Digital marketing" competence, specifically, email expertise, targeting a mobile oriented audience, integrated social media, (understanding of the platforms and their reach), and the use of PPC and SEO as part of an audience development campaign

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

  • Solid understanding of marketing strategy and how this is applied to project-based marketing

  • Analysing and reporting on marketing metrics, using findings to improve current campaigns

  • Literate and numerate with good communication and copy writing skills

  • A good level of IT/computer skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • A broad understanding of website CMSs to control copy/image changes

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work as team player

  • Hard working and honest with a 'can do attitude'

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work comfortably under pressure, with a high frustration tolerance and emotional resilience
