As the Market Lead for Ireland and the Channel Islands your role will be to lead and drive the business partnership between Costa and our Partners in Ireland and the Channel Islands, owning the relationships from a commercial, operational and strategic as well as day to day perspective., We're looking for a strategic and commercial business leader who demonstrates fantastic business acumen as well as an entrepreneurial drive to engage and manage all key, cross functional relationships within our Partnership business. The ultimate endeavour in this role will be to drive successful and entrepreneurial growth for Costa and our partners whilst fostering long term relationships. The successful person will also play a key role as part of the Senior Leadership Team for the business unit contributing to strategic direction, growth planning and driving team member engagement.

  • Lead and drive the growth agenda with each of your Partners across our key platforms including retail stores and Costa Express ensuring they have the right proposition to meet our customer needs. This will result in clear and concise business plans with a focus on growing the Costa brand across all platforms

  • Develop and Implement brand initiatives and country specific marketing campaigns to maximise sales performance across all platforms

  • Manage and influence a large senior stakeholder portfolio across the partner and Costa business to support and develop every platform in market

  • Manage and produce the financial forecasting and budgets for each of the markets and platforms

  • Negotiating Heads of Terms, through to Contract level for existing renegotiations and any new partners. You'll also be responsible for managing and identifying any contractual issues providing effective solutions that minimise the risk of any impact on growth

Candidate Description

  • Experience of working within a multi-customer sector business where complex and varied working practices and structures exist and where you've had exposure to working with third parties.

  • Experience of doing this in a retail or food and beverage sector

  • Proven track record of working across multiple geographical territories would be preferred

  • Strong strategic and joint business planning skills to set and deliver a strategic and aligned growth agenda

  • Proven experience in a senior role with multi-site experience and P&L accountability

  • Ability to lead, coach positively and influence both peers and partners as well as support functions with no direct line management accountability

  • Experience of operating within a supervisory or line management role

  • A mix of experience in both managed and franchised businesses
