Job Description
As the Learning and Performance Coach, your role will be to facilitate practical classroom and virtual learning experiences to our technical teams in the consumer field space, but sometimes across the wider Virgin Media o2 enterprise!
Candidate Description
You'll need a technical background with an understanding of communication networks delivering services such as Fibre Broadband, TV & Telephone.
You'll be required to deliver a variety of types of training; technical training, workshops, discussion forums, and peer learning groups/circles.
We work in an environment of blended delivery between digital first virtual/remote delivery blended with practical hands-on classroom training.
Using coaching techniques, you will encourage and stimulate learning, with the ability to draw from your own experiences as required.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible and adaptable, adjusting their facilitation & coaching style to meet the needs of the learner, ensuring that the learning objectives are achieved along the way., In order to be considered, you must have the following experience.
Experience of working within the Telecommunications industry
Experience delivering interactive in person and virtual training, discussion forums and workshops
Proven presentation, communications, and group based speaking skills
Your home location must be within a reasonable commutable distance from Croydon or Enfield as that's where most of the training will take place
National Travel will be required,
A strong customer focused with a passion for future technology
Able to work independently, using your own initiative to balance priorities
Coaching qualification or experience in one-on-one and group coaching with a proven ability to ask the right questions at the right time
PIA operative accreditation is preferable
Delivery of Fibre relation courses such as City & Guilds accreditation
Experience of assessing against PIA accreditation
Training Accreditation such as CIPD certificate, or equivalent is desirable
