Global Leadership strategy and Development is a team within T&D which owns Deutsche Bank's leadership proposition to assess and develop leaders. This role will be focused on driving systemic change and adoption of the new leadership framework at DB and develop leadership development solutions aligned with this framework. The scope of this role will be global.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Learning and Development Practitioner to work in their London team on an initial 6 Month contract Via PAYE engagement.

Overview:

The Talent and Development function supports the transformation of the bank through a focus on talent development and ensuring rigour in all of our people decisions through three clear value propositions.

The role will focus on driving systemic change and adoption of the new leadership framework at DB and develop leadership development solutions aligned with this framework.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading the change and the engagement strategy for new leadership framework for DB with a view to drive adoption in the senior leadership teams and broader people manager community
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership development propositions aligned with the new leadership framework
  • Support the development of leaders through application of leadership diagnostic tools and providing individual development support as contracted with the client
  • Coordinate development solutions with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to ensure ongoing leadership and functional suitability for leaders in critical positions
  • Skilled at preparing presentations with an analytical storyline for senior management and confident at liaising with senior stakeholders when required. Also proactive in taking the lead in preparing materials for key management meetings e.g. steering/executive committees
  • Drive projects in a structured way using PPM disciplines, demonstrating a clear understanding of the strategic agenda and taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the work. This could include applying concepts and frameworks across the whole project lifestyle and advising the senior project owner on next steps, issues and risks in order to ensure project success from conception to final implementation
  • Ability to work with clients on career development interventions where required for key talent segments using standard tools and interventions with a particular focus on diverse talent segments
  • Cultivate partnerships with key external suppliers to deliver against leadership mandate ensuring quality standards and inflow of innovative/cutting edge practices in leadership is maintained.
  • Work closely with colleagues across HR to maximise the use of resources, knowledge and best practices as well as to operationalise T&D development approaches.

Skills and experience required Essential

  • Approximately 10-12 years of experience in leadership / talent/organisational development field
  • Significant experience with large global change management initiatives and strong programme management
  • Experience of instructional design in context of interventions for leaders
  • Experience of partnering across HR and with the business at senior levels
  • Experience translating business requirements into clear actionable development solutions
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and in remote teams
  • Experience coaching and debriefing senior executives using psychometric tools and research based leadership frameworks
  • Experience developing briefings and presentations for senior executive meetings

Qualifications:

Degree level education

Psychometric certification: Hogan, career tools, 360-degree feedback instruments (preferred, not essential)

Formal training or certification in coaching or career conversations (desirable)

Formal coaching qualification
