Primary responsibilities include growing the base business by developing sales / profitability within the existing customer portfolio as well as prospecting for new business at Key Account level. You will help to deliver customer satisfaction whilst adhering to the commercial, safety and quality policies. You will receive training from our highly regarded technical experts

How you'll make an impact:

  • Manage customer relationships to ensure Customers receive value from our services.

  • Develop opportunities within the portfolio for cross-selling and up-selling through regular Customer contact, including face-to-face meetings.

  • Setting-up and executing meetings with prospective Customers to diagnose needs, create value and present solution offerings.

  • Develop and maintain account plans for accounts within the portfolio.

  • Contribute to the monthly sales reports.

  • Act as the key point of liaison between Customers and internal departments.

  • Research and reporting of market activities within the defined portfolio.

  • Effectively and efficiently plan and organise activities to meet sales objectives.

  • Identify competitor threats through networking with customers and share findings with the business.

  • Manage the sales opportunity portfolio via CRM (Salesforce).

  • Proactively analyse customer sales data and determine specific growth actions to drive sales and margin improvements.

  • Assess and improve the account profitability per product, per contract and by sites.

  • Ensure Year on Year GM improvement across the defined portfolio of Key Accounts.

  • Manage the internal qualification process to identify priorities on sales opportunities.

  • Coordinate business areas and sales processes to meet customer needs effectively.

Candidate Description

  • A demonstrable history of consistently achieving new business and commercial targets

  • Experience of prospecting, negotiating, and closing complex (contracted) sales.

  • The ability to build and grow strong relationships across an organisation and with external customers.

  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisational skills.

  • The ability to create and subsequently communicate customer facing documents and presentations to a high standard.
