We are currently recruiting for an Internal Engineer to join our Leeds based team on a full-time and permanent basis.
If you are ATA qualified with a previous engineering experience and a real passion for the Motor Trade, Engineering and support services, then this role will be the one for you!

Within this role you will provide a first class inspection service and technical support to the claims functions.

What you will be doing:
As an Internal Engineer you will play a key part in the customers overall claims journey by using your expert skillset and knowledge to assess a claimants vehicle.
Triaging assessment via images sent from the Policy Holder/Third Party
Inspecting claimants vehicles to see if we can offer the 1 day repair service
Excellent customer service is needed when dealing with a variety of our Policy Holders, Third Parties, repair centres.
Collaborating with your colleagues and the wider business to drive the correct outcome for DLG and our customers
Using appropriate judgement to deliver excellent customer performance in line with the Direct Line Group values and strategy
Supporting the delivery and management of Accident Damage spend budget within inflation targets
We would like you to have had previous experience in a similar role with the following skills/knowledge:
A strong knowledge of Thatcham repair methods, Audatex and an ATA qualification (or equivalent) is a must.
Able to prioritise your workloads to ensure you achieve targets.
