The Internal Communication team helps make the business tick. Our focus is on helping our people to understand what's happening, how they can be involved and ensuring they have access to the information they need to deliver an exceptional customer experience. By using the latest communication thinking and tools, we help the colleagues communicate, collaborate and engage, building pride and a connection to the business.

Essentials of the role include:

  • Day-to-day community management of our internal enterprise social network

  • Taking a lead on communications input to various projects, including advice to project leaders

  • Supporting leadership and engagement events

  • Publishing news and information on our digital comms channels

  • Supporting and devising creative internal campaigns

Candidate Description

This exciting opportunity would suit someone with previous experience within internal communications looking to build their skills in a fast paced environment within a large company. This role could be a great stepping stone toward building your career within Internal Communications.,

  • Experience within internal communications essential

  • Experience within transport/rail desirable

  • Publishing online using a CMS

  • Management of or involvement with Social Media channels

  • Excellent organisation and diligent eye for detail

  • Enthusiastic to complete necessary training
