Interims: HR Advisor and Medical Staffing Manager

  • The role will predominantly be managing and supporting on sickness absence casework

  • Provide support to a variety of managers during different levels of casework and investigations making sure that fairness and consistency of application is .

  • Experience of advising and coaching managers through a range of employee relations issues, interpreting policies and procedures with a sound knowledge of employment law.

    Medical Staffing Manager:

  • To take responsibility for the planning, monitoring and coordination of all Medical Staffing issues across the assigned Division

  • To give specialist advice to the Managing Director and Medical Director as and when required.

  • Facilitate timely recruitment of training and non-training junior medical staff within the Division by working with the Medical Resourcing team as required.

  • Making sure that the minimum staffing levels are available for each rota and coordinate locum medical staff at short notice where and when applicable.

  • Working closely with and advising specialty Consultants and junior medical staff in relation to all medical staffing issues, in order to make sure that quality, activity and financial targets are met regarding medical and dental workforce.

Candidate Description

  • Recent AND relevant NHS experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of seniority.
