Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for an Interface Manager working on HS2 based in Birmingham. Working as part of our Major Structures team you be responsible for the interface with key area wide stakeholders such as Network Rail, Highways England.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the interface between BBV and specified stakeholders

  • Support the interface between BBV and other MWCC and Station Construction partners

  • For each of the following stakeholders be the lead contact point in the relationship, noting that the list may vary over the life of the project

  • Ensure that stakeholder needs and U&As are understood by both BBV, HS2 and the stakeholder

  • Coordinating, facilitating and encouraging discussions and meetings between the stakeholder and BBV/DJV/HS2

  • Facilitating ad-hoc meetings with the stakeholder as necessary

  • Ensure that U&A compliance for the stakeholders is delivered through BBVs and its partners work

  • Demonstrate the BBV behaviours

  • Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm

Candidate Description

  • Qualified Senior Civil Engineer or similar equivalent

  • Understanding of the construction environment for safe and buildable designs.

  • Experience of working with a major design consultancy and major contractor.

Balfour Beatty VINCI (BBV) is responsible for designing and building part of the most exciting and challenging infrastructure project in Europe: HS2.

We are building the West Midlands section of HS2's Phase One route, spanning approximately 90km from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
