Job Description
The Credit Risk Impairment manager is a senior individual within the Provision and Forecasting team responsible for the management of Retail or Corporate Impairment stock. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in building up the credit risk impairment team, developing analytical capabilities and engaging with senior stakeholder.

Deputising for the Head of Credit Risk Impairment on senior committees
Preparing materials and presenting results to governance forum/committees
Completing qualitative as well as quantitative submissions when required
Actively involved in review and challenge of the next generation credit risk provisioning models
Enhancing and monitoring controls over the credit impairment process; Keeping process documentation up to date with model changes
Leading a team of credit risk analysts and supports the Senior Manager in nurturing talent and building a high performing team
Candidate Description
Deep understanding of the current impairment standard (IFRS 9); Previous experience in using /building / validating / auditing impairment models.
Strong analytical mind and good technical skills (SAS / Python)
It would also be nice for you to have.
Previous managerial experience is a plus
Good knowledge of the credit risk lifecycle (portfolio management / origination strategy / budgeting / stress testing)
