Job Description
The Credit Risk Impairment Senior Analyst is responsible for the management of Retail or Corporate Impairment stock. Key activities include but are not limited to: monthly impairment reporting; review and challenge of the existing suite of IFRS 9 models; development and maintenance of analytical dashboards and MI;
The difference you'll make
Acting as first line of defence following the I AM Risk framework
Flagging known data quality or processing issues that could lead to misstatement in the results
Maintaining version control for any changes made to the models and/or results
Maintaining a set of control checks that can be undertaken for each model run
Ensuring models and model outputs are subject to appropriate governance Actively seeks to either reduce or remove risk when weaknesses in either the methodology or the processes are identified
What you'll bring
Understanding of the various stages of the impairment/IFRS9 process
Advanced Excel skills
Candidate Description
Preferable to have experience working within the portfolio allocated (Retail or Corporate)
A good understanding of financial analysis, planning and modelling.
SAS experience

This role is based in Milton Keynes with flexibility working from home.
