To support the Director of Human Resources and work closely with College Management Team to provide effective human resource strategies across the college.

Responsible for the day-to- day operational work of the Human Resources team, ensuring that it provides effective solutions to Human Resources issues.

Candidate Description

  • Level 7 CIPD qualified

  • Managing and advising on a wide range of HR issues

  • Managing recruitment and selection processes

  • Managing absence management processes

  • Experience of reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures

  • Previous line management experience

  • Experience of working with Trade Unions/staff organisations

  • Knowledge of employment legislation

  • Knowledge of HR best practice

  • Knowledge of HR information systems and workforce planning requirements
