This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a national schools group.

Reporting in to the Head of HR Operations you will be responsible for managing and developing a proactive and effective HR service to a group of 10 academies. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Providing advice and guidance on a wide range of HR issues, including disciplinaries, absences and grievances

  • Taking the lead on local trade union consultations and negotiations

  • Managing and coordinating the recruitment and selection processes in the cluster

  • Leading, coaching and managing a team to maximise performance

  • Analysing and reporting on HR data

  • Designing and delivering training initiatives

  • Taking the lead on the TUPE transfers

  • Working closely with senior leaders including Headteachers and Principals

Candidate Description

You should be an experienced HR Generalist with a track record of working in a multi-site environment. An excellent knowledge of employment law including TUPE needs to be combined with experience of leading a team and providing an effective HR Advisory service. Experience of working in the education sector would be an advantage but is not essential.

You must be prepared to travel to multiple sites when required.
