The temporary role of Housing Assistant will assist with the general office admin functions, office cover and post duties as and when required.,
Assist with the management of supported housing
Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls from tenants and support agencies. Other administration duties such as writing letters and monitoring
Provide information requested by other teams to assist them in the management of servicing and maintaining equipment and arrears/former tenant arrears collection
Contact support providers, social services, and service commissioners to ensure that void data is up to date and update the housing management system as required
Input information onto computer systems in relation to void properties, changes of tenancies and housing benefit. Daily monitoring and actioning of team and own workflows
Prepare information, for example for: signing-up new tenants, annual scheme review visits and for housing benefit
The ideal candidate will have a full UK Driving License and access to their own car. They will be an effective communicator and be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own.
