We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and experienced Head of Business Development (Education Resources) MENA to manage a team of educational consultants in the Middle East and North Africa region and ensure that the team meet and surpass their objectives. This will include proactively managing the internal business development team and direct customer accounts as well as the local relationships with the third-party distributors.
Some of the key accountablities include, but are not limited to are:
Collaboratively develop and execute business strategies in and for the region within the framework of our global strategy, corporate values, and organisational purpose
Collaboratively act as regional ambassador for Cambridge International Education publishing and provide support with the development of relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the region.
Ensure that business development activities and travel are conducted efficiently and within budget.
Maximise the value created for our customers and end users in the region, financially and educationally.
Generate and utilise quantitative and qualitative insights into our customers and markets in the region., We are seeking someone who can demonstrate a strong relationship with our six behavioural values; collaborative, decisive, empowering, innovative, responsible and responsive. You will thrive working with multiple teams in different territories, offering excellent communication lines and a clear sense of direction and purpose to maximise the performances within your team in working towards a common goal.
In this senior leadership role, you will be expected to support the Regional Director in constructing a strategic business plan per market including detailed product forecasts.

You need to have a proven record of working towards and exceeding ambitious P&L targets preferably in the MENA region. Experience in managing teams and distribution channels is essential for this role, as well as understanding, monitoring, and resolving any customer issues and complaints within a positive and proactive manner.
