Our Health and Safety team play a pivotal role in keeping employees, customers and the business safe and compliant as well as environment. This role is looking for someone who has an interest in health and safety along with project management knowledge. What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the organisation to deliver H&S activities

  • Playing an instrumental role in ensuring visibility and transparency of all change activities, their costs and benefits and the resulting outcomes within the H&S Function.

  • Keeping Sponsors, HR MD's and Senior Managers informed of the status and performance of Projects and programmes, notifying if key decisions, risks and issues need to be escalated

  • Giving sponsors and key stakeholders accurate and timely information to enable them to effectively steer the change and keep us on track to deliver our targets.

  • Developing strong relationships with Business Partners and the Change Community to improve the effectiveness of PMO processes

  • Implementing process improvements and automated reporting to assist the Workstream leads and Project Managers

  • Data Analysis

  • Offering a valuable "external" viewpoint in discussions and brainstorming sessions

Candidate Description

  • To be studying for Business, Economics, Health & Safety or Logistics based degree that offers a placement year opportunity

  • To be able to demonstrate strong communication skills

  • Can work using own initiative

  • Have strong organisation skills with high levels of attention to detail

  • Be able to think analytically and process data and information
