We are happy to be flexible on location for the right candidate. This role offers a healthy blend between office and home working.

As our Programme Manager you'll be accountable for leading the Programme Assurance team for the strategic delivery of a Greenfield Sub-Programme comprising of c.120k premises /£60m pa directly linked to the VMO2 growth agenda. Within this, you will be covering HSEQ, programme, quality, cost construction & commissioning.

A key aspect within this role will be to develop and deliver collaborative relationships with the Greenfield Delivery Partners including forecasting, demand & resource planning, delivery with robust supplier performance management.

Candidate Description

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • You'll have an external qualification in Project/Programme Management (e.g., Prince / APM/ MSP Practitioner or equivalent)

  • Examples of where you've led cross functional teams (Programme Assurance teams desirable)

  • Demonstrable experience of ownership of capex and management of programme finances and budgets

  • Proven bold decision maker, with exceptional partner management skills and confidence dealing with and innovating through ambiguity

The other stuff we're looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Detailed understanding and experience of working with NEC4 contracts desirable

  • Experience of implementation and embedding of robust programme controls

  • Set up, recruit, train and retain a sub-programme team with Project Management, Engineering & Contract & Commercial capability to deliver the programme
