Adecco Public Sector are currently looking to recruit a permanent Financial Planning Manager to join a £156m turnover Not-For-Profit organisation in the North West of England.
This is a crucial role supporting the Head of Treasury + Business Planning on a permanent basis. The role will mainly be remote working however attendance to monthly meetings in either Manchester or Liverpool would be required.
To prepare the Group financial plan, carrying out stress testing and flexing the plan as required. To carry out financial modelling, liaising with colleagues across the business to understand the financial implications of growth, regeneration, acquisition, or development opportunities and aid decision making.
Develop the business planning reporting, taking ownership of the Sequel to BRIXX tools and any other sector improvements. Attend BRIXX user groups to be aware of potential impacts to the plans.
Carry out financial modelling to; assess the impact of changes to the business, emerging issues and opportunities, support decision making, and assess liquidity and funding requirements. Prepare the financial plan to reflect the corporate objectives of the Group and its members. Carry out stress testing of the financial plan in line with regulatory requirements.
Prepare the Financial Forecast Return (FFR) for approval.
Develop the Brixx dashboard function, creating a suite of reports for use in accurately reporting and analysing the financial plan outputs; carry out analysis to inform or append to Committee, Board and funder reports, including relevant metrics, liquidity and covenant calculations.
Experience of using Brixx business planning software.
Experience preparing data for the RSH Financial Forecast Return (FFR).
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management teams members.
Ideally be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (or working towards).
