In this role you will be a critical part of our Financial Crime Compliance Controls, Models & Analytics team.

You'll have the ability to leverage your knowledge in Financial Crime analytics to support the development of Financial Crime models, to build an analytics practice that is rapidly expanding and an exciting opportunity to build a forward-looking operating model for Financial Crime Oversight.

The difference you'll make.

  • Developing the Financial Crime analytics practice and the defining of FC models, with a particular focus on s CRA (customer risk assessment) and TM (transactional monitoring) - not exclusively

  • Enabling the analytical development of financial crime models

  • Ensuring operating processes and procedures are up-to-date, in place and delivered.

  • Ensuring analytical work is performed and quality controlled.

  • Providing analytical capability to the risk and control owners across lines of business on how to implement (Models and Analytics) and assess any identified risks.

  • Partner with stakeholders of all levels to identify analytical requirements, produce and effectively communicate insights that enable them to make FC risk management decisions

  • Working across lines of defence to ensure that models meet regulatory expectations as well as effectiveness and efficiency standards.

Candidate Description

  • Broad experience in Financial Crime Analytics as a manager across different aspects of financial services / financial markets, and within a global organisation

  • Has strong experience of using SQL.

    It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Good knowledge of transactional monitoring and analytical experience around it

  • Experience of using Python, SAS and ''R'

  • In depth FC knowledge including Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption

  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to explain technical terms in non-technical language
