We a hiring a Financial Crime Assurance Manager who will play an important part in the oversight, implementation, and delivery of the FC Assurance agenda in collaboration with the wider function and relevant business areas.
If you have experience in an Assurance, Compliance Monitoring or Internal Audit role as well as experience leading reviews as part of the wider Financial Crime plan, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

Leading assurance reviews as part of the wider assurance plan and providing timely assurance opinions.
Developing and agreeing the scope and delivering against agreed milestones.
Collaborating with colleagues to assess whether FC Risks are adequately identified, assessed and managed.
Ensuring opinions are underpinned by facts, evidence and assessment of materiality aligned with Santander UK's Risk Appetite, Policies & Standards.
Identifying issues or improvements and advising Senior Management through high quality, impactful reports.
Overseeing the execution of Management actions to address assurance findings, validating their effectiveness.
What you'll bring.
Proven experience in an Assurance, Compliance Monitoring or Internal Audit role providing design and operating effectiveness assurance over financial crime risk management in a banking environment.
Experience leading reviews as part of the wider financial crime plan, providing timely assurance opinions over the Financial Crime Risk Management Systems and Controls, including their adequacy and effectiveness both at a framework and individual control level., Financial Crime has a devastating impact on our communities through its association to illegal drugs, human trafficking and terrorism. Criminals will always look for new ways to evade our systems and controls so we must look to constantly evolve to address new threats that's why our mission is to Deter, Detect and Disrupt Financial Crimes, ensuring that we protect our clients, our communities, our shareholders and the firm. Financial crime is a top priority risk for our bank.
Strong project and time management skills with the ability to work independently or lead others.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate confidently and influence stakeholders.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate finding and business trends.
A recognised Financial Crime, Compliance or Internal Audit qualification.
