This position is responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the finance function. Role includes all month end accounting duties:

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Bank reconciliations (multi-currency)

  • Monthly management account

  • Reconciliation of suppliers each month

  • Accruals and prepayments

  • Accrued and deferred income

  • Stock, goods in transit and goods in production

  • PAYE reconciliations

  • Inter-company reconciliations

  • Fixed asset register

  • VAT returns

  • Assist with the leading of accounts staff

Candidate Description

Adecco are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's fastest growing companies based in Acton on the recruitment need for a Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will be qualified/ part qualified in ACCA/ACA & will have experience using Quickbooks.

Key Requirements/ Skills:

  • IT literate with strong/ advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong commercial sense

  • Proactive and driven approach

  • Ability to work quickly under pressure

  • High attention to detail

  • Quickbooks experience essential

  • Must have experience of working in a similar accounting role

  • Strong skills in cross border vat and intrastate reporting
