Join us on our new and exciting fibre venture as a Fibre Co Service Delivery Lead. You will be accountable for ensuring the services provided by technology teams support the delivery of Services to Fibre Co. You'll have visibility of the end-to-end teams, identifying areas of focus and risk whilst taking the lead on Executive Account Management. Working in collaboration with the broader VirginMediaO2 (VMO2) business to ensure we maintain a strong commercial position, business strategies are intimately understood and SLA's/KPI's meet the requirements of the customer.

Candidate Description

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • An effective communicator with experience of presenting to and interacting with Board level audiences.

  • Ability to provide examples of setting plans to deliver efficient service in large service organisations.

  • Previous experience running large complex services, ideally with a fixed or mobile communications provider environment.

  • Demonstrable Executive Leadership skills with the ability to showcase credibility, inspire confidence, and demonstrably influence others at all levels of the organisation.

  • Experience in previous roles as an exceptional leader of people with a matrix or non-matrix model and the ability to build effective operational and strategic relationships across the organisation and in the wider marketplace.

  • Experience in strategic design and driving large transformational programs across diverse and complex environments.

  • Strong record of people management in a technical environment, including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Understanding and experience of mobile and cable industry technologies, supporting tools, platforms and solutions.

  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach.

  • Expertise in driving operational efficiencies through creating innovative and strategic solutions.

Our shareholders and investment partners have recently announced the creation of a new fibre joint venture, which aims to provide up to 7 million premises with a new wholesale full fibre network. This incredible move represents our significant commitment to the UK and a boost to the nation's digital economy at a crucial time.

This is going to be HUGE! The partnership will initially roll out fibre to 5 million homes not currently served by Virgin Media O2's network by 2026, with the opportunity to expand to an additional 2 million homes. This new fibre venture, alongside VMO2's existing network, will offer greater wholesale choice to other operators across the country.
