The role is situated in a highly motivated and successful Agile Team, across various locations around the UK and abroad. Working closely with Business Product Owners and architects to understand requirements. You will be tasked with analysing the requirements and follow through with the development.

We are a motivated team with big goals, so we seek individuals who are truly passionate about their work and possess the enthusiasm and aim to make things happen. The SANMF core team delivers new and improved functionality to the Mortgage core application using agile methodologies.

You will be able to grow your skillset with our digital transformation, moving the core application to the new platform offering.

  • Reviewing business requirement analysing them

  • Delivering eMerge code as per user stories requirements as well as testing and deploying the code.

  • Providing deep understanding of Mainframe to include: JCL, file management and scheduling.

  • Ensuring applicable guidelines/best practice followed, and activities progressed effectively.

Candidate Description

  • Excellent eMerge knowledge using workbench and 3270 screens

  • Deep understanding of Mainframe to include: JCL file management and scheduling.

  • CICS understanding

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Understanding of the financial market with focus on mortgages

    It would also be nice for you to have.

  • PL1/Cobol experience

  • Autonomous work ethic

  • Complex system understanding in large organisations, Accuracy and Attention to Detail (Working Knowledge), Agile Development (Working Knowledge), IT Quality Assurance (Working Knowledge), Requirements Analysis (Working Knowledge), Software Engineering (Working Knowledge), Software Integration Engineering (Working Knowledge), Software Product Design/Architecture (Working Knowledge), Software Product Management (Working Knowledge), Software Product Technical Knowledge (Working Knowledge), Software QA & Testing Tools (Working Knowledge)
