Job Description
Carry out design work under guidance of senior designers and/or engineers, ensuring the design process (as defined in Quality Regulations, Work Instructions and Design guides) is adhered to.,
Innovation, development and deployment of technology: Contributes to the development of innovative solutions within our business, guided by senior designers and/or engineers.
Re-use of technologies: where appropriate, re-use components or sub-systems to ensure that we can shorten our product development or technology project timelines.
Drive the design process: ensure that Quality Regulations and Work Instructions are correctly adhered to in the design process.
Skills/Competences Technologies: Knowledge of at least one technology from the following list, at intermediate level: Superconductivity Cryogenics Electromagnetics Electronics Mechanical Engineering Materials Manufacturing processes
Methodologies (behavioural skills) including, at intermediate level: Modelling, GD&T and DFMA (Design For Manufacturing and Assembly)
Professional. Knowledge awareness including, at basic level: Communication Skills Intercultural Awareness Awareness of regulatory requirements Compliance with Business Conduct Guidelines Safe Working Practices
Candidate Description
Professional Experience in product design and designing technology projects (>1 years) Project / Process Areas Experience of working within a component and/or product development project team (> 1 years). Experience of production environment (>1 years).
Education Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering, Science or Technology subject.
