The Data Portfolio Lead partners closely with the VM Business, Operations, IT and Partners to evaluate and support project delivery prioritisation for our Data team.
You will be the bridge between our business customers and managed service partners alongside Senior Managers working closely to help realise our Data strategy!
Driving continuous change and improvement, you'll support activities across the domain, and ensure managed services and other supplier deliverables are achieved on time and to the quality encouraged.
You'll deliver management of a Supplier Managed Service, stepping in when required to ensure standards are maintained and continuous service improvement is in place. You will Interface to managed service or supplier counterpart to ensure the delivery of quality Data solutions. A solid understanding of the SDLC is important as well as a keen understanding of how to use RAID.
A key aspect of the role is to engage with key Technology and Business collaborators for delivery of supplier solution and drive the correct Virgin Media Values within our Outsource Partners ensuring VM processes are adhered to.
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
Previous proven experience in a similar lead data driven role
Experience working in an Agile environment with an associated certification (i.e. Agile PM/Prince2/Scrum Master
Able to explain and presents sophisticated technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels
Solid track record to work in and lead programs and projects that support major technical platform roll out and/or migration
Ability to support budget management with a view to supporting group expenditure objectives
