Job description - the role

Our client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. Their large but focused footprint gives them an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific. Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Data Modeller to work in their Corporate Banking team based in London (Hybrid) on a PAYE basis.

The Corporate Banking (CB) division is not just a market leader in cash management, trust and agency services, trade finance, and securities services, they are also at the forefront in the provision of strategic thinking and the creation of global solutions.

Overview: Data Modeler will provide leadership and work on the design and development enterprise logical data models and physical data models that will support the CB (Corporate Banking) cash management business strategy.

Key responsibilities:

* Data Modeller working closely with Cash Business Change Management and other IT groups to ensure data models are aligned to current and future plans and activities, including coordination and technical assistance to facilitate specific development projects.

* Defining, designing, building and maintaining data models for their function. Given that data does not adhere to strict organizational boundaries, you will need to identify and collaborate with data architects who have shared dependencies.

* Responsibility for completing, maintaining and inventorying data modelling artefacts as required by MO policies.

* Working closely with Development teams, Change Management and Enterprise Architecture to develop and assure constant compliance with strategic blueprints.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Data modelling experience; specifically designing enterprise Logical data models and Physical data models (UML). (Essential)
* Strong Knowledge of transaction banking/Capital Market domain. (Essential)
* Exposure to modelling tools - Enterprise Architect, Power Designer (Preferred)
* Data architecture experience; specifically designing and implementing data pipelines and protocol formats (Json schema knowledge essential) in enterprise system architecture. (Preferred)
