This is initially a 12 mth Fixed Term contract with the opportunity for the role to turn into a more permanent role. Reporting to the Data and Analytics lead, this role will involve providing global management reporting and analysis regarding the performance of our Express machines around the world. You will be providing critical insights regarding sales, downtime, KPI's, critical market intel and performance of the express machines from real time data.
You will need to use this information to provide insight to key stakeholders across the business, with the ability to tell a story with the data and highlight the crucial data points and what they mean to drive positive change and growth.
Main responsibilities in this role;
Provide data analysis and insight internationally and cross-functionally, focusing on driving growth and performance.
Build, maintain, promote and manage access to standardised Power BI reporting, including delivering virtual training.
Be accountable for the integrity, consistency and quality of data created and updated within Costa Express, investigating and documenting any risks and issues.
Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates and build relationships.

Current knowledge of data warehousing, data analytics, reporting and business intelligence
Knowledge of requirements gathering processes and analysis
SQL knowledge and very strong Excel
Expertise in report/dashboard design
Managing conflicting priorities and ambiguity
Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information
Ability to translate data analysis into insight, and to communicate that back to stakeholders both verbally and via documentation
High level of curiosity and drive to investigate and rectify data-related issues
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Experience in supplying data and data analysis to business users
Knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL Server, etc.)
The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
Use of data visualisation software such as Power BI
