Join us on our new and exciting fibre venture as a Contract & Commercial Manager. The role is responsible for the management of the services delivered under the Master Service Agreement (MSA) to the proposed fibre joint venture, providing day to day commercial and contractual management, running governance forums and relationship management with internal and external teams. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for the MSA and associated schedules, providing commercial, performance and contractual management.
The successful candidate will establish and lead commercial governance forums with stakeholder engagement across VMO2 and Opal at SLT level so strong and credible stakeholder management skills are essential.
You will oversee all commercial/contractual management of the MSA including negotiating changes, managing escalations and day to day relationship management.
Whilst working in conjunction with the internal stakeholders, you will focus on the objective of ensuring that the services provided are managed and measured according to the agreed contractual commitments.
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
Demonstrable experience of complex contract management, relationship/operational experience and addressing problems and delivering effective solutions.
Proven experience in Mobile, Telecoms, Cable or similar industry.
Experience and appreciation of working in a customer focused environment essential.
Able to dynamically respond to both strategic and tactical operational management requirements.
Can demonstrate a strong skillset in process definition and implementation experience.,
Preferred degree level or equivalent in a commercial area such as business studies, finance, sourcing and service management, or demonstrable experience within a similar working environment.
Proficient in standard office applications with reporting/analytical experience.
Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) across internal and external audiences at all levels.
Ability to interface at the most senior levels (Director, MD, COO) internally and externally within the Procurement, customer groups or peer operator groups.
Drive and passion to achieve and exceed stretching objectives often delivering within tight timescales.

Our shareholders and investment partners have recently announced the creation of a new fibre joint venture, which aims to provide up to 7 million premises with a new wholesale full fibre network. This incredible move represents our significant commitment to the UK and a boost to the nation's digital economy at a crucial time.
This is going to be HUGE! The partnership will initially roll out fibre to 5 million homes not currently served by Virgin Media O2's network by 2026, with the opportunity to expand to an additional 2 million homes. This new fibre venture, alongside VMO2's existing network, will offer greater wholesale choice to other operators across the country.
