Cloud Infrastructure Lead Engineer | S4 | CTO | Milton Keynes / Remote

Job Description

Job Description

The core focus of this role will be the creation of a shared services catalogue that will enable many different teams to reuse AWS components in a consistent, secure manner. This will include the definition of best practise standards as well as developing, testing, deploying and maintaining modules that implement those standards.

You will work in a team recommending and introducing cloud deployment best practices and services as well as identifying where efficiencies and optimisations can be made. You will also be working with the product teams who will consume these modules to help them adopt them and take requirements for future enhancements.

You will work on cutting-edge, high-priority projects and will be expected to have a broad understanding of the AWS technical landscape, however engineers may also specialise in one or more areas.

The difference you'll make.

  • Setting up best practice and standards in AWS infrastructure engineering.

  • Taking ownership of technical considerations in tooling, technology, best practice, development, availability of services, risk and reliability.
