Job Description
Lead the development of robust business cases to help shape how we deliver our longer-term strategic aims, including the analysis of the costs, benefits, risks, and impacts for a range of options
Demonstrate and apply critical thinking to challenge our ideas for delivering our longer-term aims, seeking to determine whether the ideas, arguments and findings represent the entire picture and being open to finding that they do not==
Communicate progress to the Senior Management Team on the development of the business cases, including flagging any risks or issues
Work with others to resolve any problems that present barriers or challenges to progressing the business cases
Candidate Description
Experience of developing complex business cases to support decision-making on strategic options or organisational change programmes
Demonstrating critical thinking to question ideas and assumptions
Applying techniques which help when investigating, analysing, modelling a variety of options
Ability to develop strong relationships and consensus within teams across an organisation and to motivate and empower colleagues
Excellent communication skills, including a high standard of formal report writing as well as great interpersonal verbal and written communication
Confidence to engage and collaborate with senior leaders and managers, providing them with value added input, advice, support and challenge
